Father Jardinius

The Story:

Everything still reminds of Father Jardinius in and around abbey Rolduc, the old gardener who took care of the beautifully landscaped flower gardems for years. The roses are still furtilized in his special way and the hedges are still trimmed weekly.However, there was one secret he never revealed: How could his flowers be so beautiful? It is up to you to unravel his secret…

Characteristics:

• Themes: Garden, Classic, Offline
• Type: This is a traditional mostly linear Escape Game played outdoors. This game is not about a closed space inside, but about an activity outside where you solve games like in an Escape Room. Tip: don't come on heels! :)
• Difficulty: This Abbey Game is experienced by our guests as an average level. A brain teaser for some and doable for others. Most guests manage to solve the game between 60-80 minutes.
• Duration: We work in blocks of 1.5 hours, giving you a maximum of 80 minutes to solve the game. In the remaining 10 minutes we will give you an explanation and we will prepare the cart for the next group.
• Open since April 16, 2021
• Language independent, explanation in Dutch, German or English.

Optional Break:

• Just like Father Jardinius, enjoy a nice drink halfway through. Various types of soft drinks, lager and beers from the Rolduc Brewery are available. At the start we will give you the opportunity to order a drink and we will process your order in the game so that you can quench your thirst during a short break. These drinks are not included in the price.
• If you would like a drink before or after the game, you can currently go to one of the To Go points (Brewery Rolduc, Abbey Hotel, Brasserie De Kanunnik).

Suitable for:

• 2, 3, 4 or 5 adults per cart.

• 3 4, 5 or 6 young adults of 14 years and older per cart. 

• 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 children (10-14 years) with 1 adult supervisor per cart. 
• Younger children can play along with the family, but because of the difficulty they will only be able to contribute little.

You play this game outside and therefore it depends on the weather.

• Cancellations in bad weather can be made up to 48 hours in advance. Your tickets will then remain valid, but you will not receive any money back.
• Cancellation due to weather alarm (from code yellow) is always possible. Your tickets will then remain valid, but you will not receive any money back.
